EDP Brasil Completes R$5.6 Billion Acquisition of Renewable-Energy Business

On 28 October 2026, EDP Brasil completed the acquisition of 100% of EDP Renováveis Brasil for €990 million, equivalent to approximately R$5.6 billion. The transaction had an implied enterprise value of around €1.6 billion and strengthens EDP Brasil's position in the renewable-energy market.
