Rwanda’s Code for Impact Competition Targets 1,000 Technology Jobs by 2029

On 25 October 2026, Rwanda’s Code for Impact 2026 competition entered its final application week, with applications closing on 31 October. The programme aims to support more than 50 youth-led startups and contribute to 1,000 technology jobs by 2029; its announced prizes are RWF 3 million for first place, RWF 2 million for second and RWF 1 million for third. Employers, training providers and technology organisations can explore skills development, workforce analytics and digital training platforms; HPC can support technical learning infrastructure and workforce data processing, with quotations available for confirmed requirements.
