Philippines Confirms ₱2.27 Billion Mercedes Offshore Wind Port Contract
On 23 October 2026, the Philippine Ports Authority clarified that the ₱2.27 billion contract for a new offshore wind port in Mercedes, Camarines Norte, was awarded to a joint venture of two Filipino-owned construction companies. The greenfield port is designed to handle specialised equipment, heavy machinery and wind-turbine components required by offshore wind projects. The contract covers construction and development of the port infrastructure, not the sale or privatisation of the port. Manufacturers, port operators and logistics companies can explore cargo-flow analytics, equipment monitoring and supply-chain optimisation, while HPC can support industrial data processing and logistics modelling; contact HPC for a quotation based on your project scope.
