Oman Awards $98.8 Million Automotive Assembly Investment in Sohar

On 28 October 2026, Sohar Automotive and Advanced Industries Company secured an OMR 38 million investment commitment, approximately $98.8 million, for an automotive assembly complex in Sohar Free Zone. The project will cover approximately 317,000 square metres and aims to attract vehicle manufacturers, suppliers and advanced automotive businesses.
